EVENT FUNNEL SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS

PRE-EVENT INSTRUCTIONS

ADD THE NEXT EVENT DATE TO YOUR FUNNEL

Part 1 | Update Your Event Dates and Countdown Timer

Video Walkthrough

a. Update Your 2 Webpages (on Desktop & Mobile): 

1 | Event Opt-In Page 

2 | Event Confirmation Page

Step 1 | Go to Sites / Platinum Funnels 8.0 / Event Funnel 8.0

Step 2 | Open the Event Opt-In Page (Working Draft version).

Step 3 | Scroll down and update your old Event date with your new date.

Step 4 | Click on the Countdown Timer. (Make sure it's highlighted in orange.)

Step 5 | On the right side, scroll down and edit the 3 fields under "End Date": Event date | Event Time | Timezone

Step 6 | Save and Publish all of your changes.

Step 7 | Go to the Event Confirmation Page. Then repeat the steps above.

b. Update Your 3 Email Automations:

1 | Invite Them to Event

2 | Show Up for Event 

3 | Upgrade After Event

Step 1 | Go to Automations / Workflows / Event Funnel Workflows

Step 2 | Go to your first workflow step or 1 | Invite Them to Event.

Step 3 | Look for the automation with the purple icon called "Set Event Date & Start Time".

Step 4 | Click on the "Select Date" field and input your Event date and time.

Step 5 | Select the blue button at the right-bottom side called "Save Action". And then save it again at the top-right corner.

Step 6 | Click "Back to Workflows" then go to 2 | Show Up for Event.

Step 7 | Repeat steps 3-5 for workflow steps: 2 | Show Up for Event & step 3 | Upgrade After Event.

Part 2 | Update Your “Add Event to Calendar” Pop-Up

Video Walkthrough

Step 1 | Go to Calndr.link. Fill in your event info: Title | Description | Location (Zoom Link or In-Person Address) | Date & Time.

Step 2 | Click the purple "Create Event" button to save your changes.

Step 3 | Scroll down and copy the URL link of the Apple calendar.

Step 4 | Go to your Event Confirmation page (Working Draft version). At the top navigation bar, click the "Popup Settings" icon.

Step 5 | Select the Apple calendar icon. (Make sure it's highlighted in orange.)

Step 6 | On the right side, scroll down to "Actions".

Step 7 | Click the "Image Actions" dropdown and select "Go to website URL".

Step 8 | In the blank field below that, paste the URL link of the Apple calendar from Calndr.link.

Step 9 | Repeat steps 3-6 with the correct URL links to the other 3 calendar icons (Google, Outlook & Yahoo).

Step 10 | Save and Publish all of your changes.

Part 3 | Create a New Tag for Your Event

Step 1 | On the right side of your account, click on “Settings” at the bottom.

Step 2 | Scroll down and select “Tags”

Step 3 | Click on the blue button on the upper right side called “New Tag”

Step 4 | Start the tag name with "Event __ (#)". (This will allow you to search tags for event and see all your event tags.)

Step 5 | Abbreviate the name of your event and add the date. (For example: Event 2 | Mastery | 10-24).

Step 6 | Select “Create” to save your changes.

Here are some tag examples for our Client Attraction Mastery Event:

・Event 2 | Mastery | 6-24

・Event 3 | Mastery | 10-24

Part 4 | Update Your Email Automations with Your New Tag

Video Walkthrough

Step 1 | Go to Automations / Workflows / Event Funnel Workflows

Step 2 | Go to your second workflow step or 2 | Show Up for Event.

Step 3 | Look for the automation with the blue icon called "Event Tag Added Automatically". (Below the purple "Set Event Date & Start Time" automation).

Step 4 | Select the “Tags” dropdown. Click “x” beside the “Event 1” tag

Step 5 | Replace the “Event 1” tag with the new tag you created for your event.

Step 6 | Select the blue button at the right-bottom side called "Save Action". And then save it again at the top-right corner.

POST-EVENT INSTRUCTIONS

UPDATE YOUR REPLAY PAGE

Part 1 | Upload your Event Recording to the Event Replay Page

a. Import your Event Recording into the Thrive Machine

Step 1 | Go to the Event Replay Page (Working Draft version).

Step 2 | Click on the video placeholder. (Make sure it's highlighted in orange.)

Step 3 | On the right side, scroll down to “Video Type”. 

Step 4 | Click the dropdown and choose "Hosted Video" from the options.

Step 5 | Then below that, click "Select Video".

Step 6 | On the upper right corner, select "New Upload". You can now upload your Event Recording here.

b. Add the Event Recording to the Replay Page

Step 1 | Go to the Event Replay Page (Working Draft version).

Step 2 | Click on the video placeholder. (Make sure it's highlighted in orange.)

Step 3 | [Optional] On the right side, scroll down to "Video Thumbnail" and choose the cover photo for your Event Recording.

Step 4 | Below is "Playback Controls". Toggle all the options. (Blue means ON.)

Step 5 | Save and publish your changes.

Part 2 | Link your Consult Calendar in the Event Replay Page

Step 1 | Go to the Event Replay Page (Working Draft version).

Step 2 | Scroll and click on the calendar. (Make sure it's highlighted in orange.)

Step 3 | On the right side, scroll down to "Calendar Config" and select your Consult Calendar custom value.

Step 4 | Save and publish your changes.

Part 3 | Link your Event Replay Page in your Event Replay Email

Step 1 | On the right side of your account, click on “Settings” at the bottom

Step 2 | On the left side, scroll down and click on "Custom Values."

Step 3 | Go to the Folders tab and click "Snapshot Assets."

Step 4 | Scroll down and look for the “Event Replay Page”.

Step 5 | Click on the three dots on the right and click "Edit the custom value."

Step 6 | Change the link so it links to your Event Replay Page.

Step 7 | Click the blue Update button to save your changes.

Part 4 | Send out the Event Replay Email

Step 1 | Go to Contacts and click the “More Filters” button. 

Step 2 | On the right menu, scroll down or search for the “Tag” option.

Step 3 | Click on the “Please Select” dropdown. Then, search for the “Event 1” Tag (or the tag you gave your event).

Step 4 | Click the “Apply” button at the bottom right. Select all your contacts.

Step 5 | Click the sixth “Add Tag” button in the top navigation bar.

Step 6 | Input any Action Name you want. Then, choose the "Event Replay" tag from the dropdown menu.

[Optional] Redirect Event Opt-in Page to Event Replay Page

Video Walkthrough

Step 1 | Go to the Event Opt-In Page (Working Draft version).

Step 2 | Click on the expired countdown. (Make sure it’s highlighted in orange.)

Step 3 | On the right side, scroll down to "Expire Action". Click the dropdown options and select “Redirect to URL”.

Step 4 | Directly below, paste your Event Replay Page link.

Step 5 | Save and publish your changes.
